CDA Motto: Unity and Charity

CDA Mission: to embrace the principle of faith working through love in the promotion of justice, equality and the advancement of human rights and human dignity for all.

A little about the National Catholic Daughter’s of the Americas (CDA) organization…. (taken from the National website)

• began in Utica, NY in 1903

• they donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness ”

• CDA engage in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. 

• Any Catholic woman 18 years old is eligible to join

• The local courts complete projects within the Circle of Love Program.  The program is setup to encourage members to complete service hours for a variety of needs.  At every state and national convention, local courts are asked to submit summaries of their projects in each area.  There are seven areas that each court is asked to participate in.
