Women interested in joining our Catholic Daughter’s court are encouraged to join us for any of our meetings or service projects. 

 

2026 MEETINGS & EVENTS

(PLEASE NOTE THE NEW START TIME OF 6:30 pm with rosary and meeting to follow)

  • Tuesday, January 6 – Welcome to the New Year – Regular meeting
  • January 17 – Puzzle Competition Fundraiser – Christ the King parish hall in Mandan
    (details are on the website)
  • Tuesday, February 3 – Executive Director Rebecca Obrigewitch from the Bismarck Women’s Care
    Center will be our guest speaker
  • Tuesday, March 3 – St. Patrick’s Day Potluck – Wear Green. Election of members to serve on the
    nominating committee to consider possible candidates for our local Court officer positions.
  • Tuesday, April 7 – Reception of new members, 25- and 50-year member recognition. Hosted by
    Past Regents and Vice Regents.
  • Saturday, April 25 – Tea Party Fundraiser – Christ the King parish hall in Mandan
  • Tuesday, May 5 – Memorial Service for deceased members, Crowning of our Blessed Mother,
    Election of Officers.
  • Tuesday, June 2 – Installation of Officers and Priest Appreciation Basket Delivery discussion
  • July 21-26 – National CDA Convention – Coralville, Iowa – check out details on our website as well as the National CDA website.

Note: There are no meetings in July or August. 

 

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

  • The Patriotic Rosary – Held every first and third Thursday of the month at Spirit of Life Catholic Church in Mandan is at 7:00 p.m. Check the Spirit of Life church bulletin for time changes. Catholics from across the Bismarck-Mandan area gather to pray for each of the 50 US states and for Christianity to flourish in our country.
  • 40 Days for Life –  A 40 day prayer event where Catholics pray for an end to abortion. The Catholic Daughters participate annually in this international prayer movement.
  • State Capitol Nativity Scene – We annually invite the Knights of Columbus to join us for the blessing of the nativity scene at the State Capitol.
  • Monthly Mass – A holy Mass said monthly for all current and deceased members of our Court.
  • North Dakota State CDA Convention – Held biennially at various locations around the state. A wonderful spiritual and social event for Catholic Daughters from all over the state. Includes holy Mass, prayer activities, educational speakers, and a banquet. 
  • National CDA Convention – State delegates are sent bi-annually to this national event, hosted in different states, where they discuss CDA news and updates; attend educational speakers; pray and participate in holy Mass; and network with other Catholic Daughters from across the nation.
